Full name: Maysara Ahmad Salah | ميسرة أحمد صلاح

• Journalist at the editing and design department at Quds News Network

• He succumbed to injuries sustained from Israeli raid in North Gaza. Specifically, he sustained serious injuries to the head and abdomen a few days prior to his death when the IDF raided and attacked the Awni Al-Harthani School in Beit Lahia, The last Israeli raid on the school occurred on the evening of November 27, 2024.

• Maysara was taken to the barely functioning Kamal Adwan Hospital and his condition required a transfer to either Al-Ahli or Al-Shifa hospitals. On November 30, Israeli forces held the ambulance transporting him for eight hours at the checkpoint separating North Gaza and Gaza City, His condition consequently deteriorated and he died inside the ambulance before reaching the hospital.

• Quds published a statement on X, on December 1, 2024: "Obituary. With profound sorrow and grief, Quds News Network mourns its colleague, journalist Maysara Salah, who was martyred after succumbing to injuries sustained from Israeli occupation forces' gunfire in the northern Gaza Strip. Our colleague Maysara was targeted during the Gaza war, in which the occupation continues to destroy everything in its path and kill people in every way imaginable.
Our colleague was wounded near the Awani al-Harthani School in the northern Gaza Strip, following a heavy Israeli bombardment that targeted the school, which was sheltering hundreds of displaced people. These people have been trapped under conditions of starvation and insecurity for over two months due to the ongoing military aggression.
Despite the tireless efforts of the medical staff at Kamal Adwan Hospital to save his life, the occupation refused to allow his transfer to hospitals in Gaza City for necessary treatment on Saturday, November 30, 2024. After strenuous attempts to transfer him to the Arab National Hospital (Baptist Hospital) or al-Shifa Hospital, the occupation forces obstructed the ambulance and detained our colleague Maysara for eight consecutive hours. He was finally allowed to pass after he had passed away due to the delay in receiving treatment
Quds News Network holds the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the martyrdom of our colleague Maysara Salah, who was killed twice: once by direct injury, and again by obstructing his access to necessary medical treatment.
The network calls on human rights and international organizations to open an immediate and comprehensive investigation into the ongoing war crimes committed by the occupation against Palestinian journalists, which have so far resulted in the martyrdom of more than 190 journalists, in flagrant violation of all international laws and norms.
To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
