Photojournalist at Al-Istiqlal Newspaper, he was killed on December 22 (or 23 depending of the sources), 2023 as a result of an Israeli airstrike that targeted him while reporting on the aftermath of earlier strikes on the Shajaiah area, according to the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate.
