• Radio anchor at Al-Aqsa Voice Radio
• Killed along with his wife and three children in an Israeli airstrike on his apartment in the Emirati neighborhood, (or Japanese neighborhood following some other sources like Shireen or WAFA) west of Khan Younis
• According to WAFA correspondant he was killed by a drone strike.
• The Israeli army confirmed in a statement that Bardaweel was the target of the strike, claiming he played a key “role in producing Hamas propaganda footage of the hostages”. The army did not claim that Bardaweel was armed and provided no evidence of him being a combatant.
