Killed along with 4 others civilians in an Israeli strike on a carpentry shop on Abu Sultan Street western Deri al-Balah (city).
Yahya, a Cyrpiot-Palestinian, was renowned in Gaza as a photographer of newborns. During the genocide, he took on his camera to document living conditions in Gaza and conduct interviews.
In his last published media on his social media, he also captured Israeli bombardment of Gaza City during Israel's second phase of its operation Gideon's Chariots focused on annihilating Gaza City. Yahia was forcibly displaced from Gaza City a few days before he was killed.
